The New Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 — When the N420 just won’t do
The V8 Vantage N430 is one of Aston Martin’s two newest luxury sports cars to make an appearance in 2014. As is expected of a car in its class, it’s high on horsepower; the 4.7 liter V8 engine provides 430hp to haul the 1610 kilograms (about 3,500 pounds) of weight, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 190 mph.
N430 vs N420
A great deal of the improvements upon the previous model focus around dropping weight wherever possible – for example, the alloy wheels are nearly forty pounds lighter altogether than those of their predecessor. For the convenience of the driver, the V8 Vantage N430 features the choice between a seven-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission.
Style for days
The interior is also spacious and comfortable, adorned with carbon-fiber and kevlar branded seats (also notably lighter than the older V8 Vantage N420). Its stylish exterior design is available in five distinct color schemes to accent the sleek, aerodynamic shape of the vehicle, each with different available graphics. Along with the DB9 Carbon Black and White, Aston Martin is slated to present their latest creations to the public at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
