Kahn Design’s 430-HP Land Rover Defender 6×6 Set for Geneva

Powered by a GM-sourced LS3 V8 6.2L, the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6x6 Concept has sights set on the G63 AMG 6x6.

Kahn Designs dub themselves the ‘dream factory’ and for good reason. Their latest creation is set to debut in Geneva next week — a 430-hp V8 powered, six-wheeled Land Rover Defender classic called the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6×6 Concept. Built on the Defender 110, this Kahn concept is envisioned to compete with the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 — a 8,487 lbs behemoth powered by a twin-turbo 5.5L V8. This 6×6 Defender finds a GM-sourced LS3 V8 6.2L sending power to all six wheels via a six-speed auto transmission. Compared to the stock Defender, Kahn’s version is 150mm wider, 800mm longer in rear cabin, and adds 400mm to the hood. Production of this six-wheeled monster may be a reality with Kahn Designs building limited units available in five flavours from hard top and pickup configurations to four and six-wheeled models.
