Harley Goes Electric
It is said that the only constant on our planet is change. This might very well be the case, and like all other things, Harley is changing their game to keep up with our ever-evolving world. They’ve introduced their first ever fully-electric bike — the Harley-Davidson Project LiveWire. However, the bike isn’t available for purchase yet because Harley-Davidson wants to gauge the public’s reaction to it before sending it to production.
Harley-Davidson has been showing the bike in different locations to figure out what the North American people think of the bike. It contains that same Harley ingenuity we have all come to know and love, in the form of a sleek, quiet design. The latter being the biggest change that majority of consumers will need to get used to.
Probably not what you’d ever expect from the iconic bike builder; gone might be the days of V-twin engines and that loud beautiful rumble many of us have come to love. The company is hosting a country wide tour so riders all over can experience this bike first hand. If you aren’t an experienced rider you can take advantage of the Harley-Davidson Jumpstart program, that allows the rider to experience what it is like to be on a bike.
