Producing over 600-hp, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the Most Powerful Challenger to Date
Geared towards the performance-driven driving enthusiast, the all-new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT features a new 6.2L HEMI producing 600-plus-HP. The standard SRT’s 392 HEMI V8 is no slouch either, delivering 485-HP and 475 lb.ft of peak torque.
Both Challenger SRT versions, with or without the furious Hellcat powertrain, are re-designed and totally re-engineered to be the most true-to-form muscle coupes on the market with performance-enhancing technologies inside and out. With this new 6.2L V8 engine begin the most powerful Chrysler has ever offered.
The styling is classic Challenger with a new fascia design and all-new vertical-split grille including dual air extractors to ensure effective removal of heat and reduced air turbulence in the engine bay. And to reduce weight, both SRT versions come with an all-aluminum hood design.
The Hellcat Challenger SRT rolls on exclusive “Slingshot” split-seven spoke 20 x 9.5-inch, lightweight forged-aluminum wheels with a matte black finish and wrapped in Pirelli Tires; available on the SRT 392 as part of the SRT Track Pack. If matte black isn’t your thing, opt for the 20 x 9.5-inch, lightweight forged-aluminum wheels with a Brass Monkey/dark bronze finish instead.
The cabin finds premium materials throughout with a driver-focused cockpit that’s both comfortable yet designed for performance; a cockpit the take inspiration from the 1971 Challenger but in a more organically styled layout.
Just a month after Dodge unveiled their new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT at the New York Auto Show, the automaker hits us with their 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. And for that, we thank you.
