New Innovative Lexus Dealership in Vancouver Looks to Steps Up the Experience

Vancouver’s Regency Lexus opens innovative dealership complete with butler service.

Vancouver is a cosmopolitan city known for its relaxed, but fashionable lifestyle, and for having a population of image conscious residents who appreciate the finer things in life.

Recently, Vancouver’s Regency Lexus moved into a stunning new facility on Burrard Street which will set the standard for this segment of the industry. The building is amongst the first in the world to be built to Lexus’ Global Design Standard, although a similar operation has recently been completed in Calgary (Lexus of Royal Oak).

The modern facility resembles the lobby of a 5-star hotel, albeit furnished with a colourful array of the Japanese company’s cutting-edge automobiles. Three walls of expansive, glass panels help showcase the product to passing commuters and sidewalk window shoppers. A high ceiling, split-level design offers customers plenty of room to explore the product, take a break in the lounge area, or reflect on various art pieces scattered throughout the facility.

Guests looking for information, or a sales associate, are greeted at a dedicated Concierge desk, rather than being pounced upon by the over-exuberant sales staff one usually associates with auto dealerships.

In an effort to set it apart from other luxury car dealerships, Regency Lexus has also launched its innovative Butler Service, which is an extension of the pre-established VIP service.  Lexus owners who purchase from Regency will receive a superior customer service experience, which includes everything from luxury courtesy car delivery for any maintenance or repair work, to personalized beverage stocking and the option of complimentary car washes and vehicle inspection with service.

The Butler Service is a sales tool which allows Regency customers to experience a leisurely test drive in a new Lexus automobile so that they can see if it suits their needs. It begins with a brief, online survey which will give the concierge some insight into what you like to eat or drink, what type of music you listen to, reading preferences, and how you spend your free time. Your response to direct questions about individual driving style, seating position and cabin comfort allow the staff at Regency to prepare the selected vehicle just for you.

During my Butler Service experience I was given the opportunity to drive the LS460, and enjoyed getting to explore the city behind the wheel without the stress of a high-pressure salesperson barking in my ear. I journeyed to Stanley Park, where I took a few moments to enjoy the morning paper, sip the fat-free vanilla latte, and eat the tasty pastry that had been selected for me based on the results of my survey.  If this is living the Lexus lifestyle, consider me sold.
