The New Kwid Concept by Renault adds a Drone in the mix
Renault’s newest concept car, a small and compact SUV called Kwid, caters to futuristic technology including the new flying quadrocopter drone that is released from the top of the car. Although it incorporates newer technology, it is kept surprisingly modern and simple as far as design. Due to the nature of concept cars, there are no firm specs as changes may be required for future production. Renault hopes for the Renault Kwid to have a 1.2 liter turbocharged engine and front wheel drive.
The interior is very modern, with the wheel centered in the middle and a touchscreen tablet located to the left. The flying companion drone can be controlled automatically or manually by utilizing the tablet. It flies out of the car roof, and is capable of taking pictures of the car and calculating traffic jams ahead en route. It was created by a team of international designers in hopes of appealing the younger crowd; a concept car that is small yet durable, modern, smart, comfortable and connected. With the wheel being centered in the middle, the driver can sit surrounded by two people with an additional two people in the back, totalling five available seats in the Renault Kwid.
