The new 2015 Discovery Sport is the first member of the new Discovery family. The cabin features 5+2 seating in a space no larger than the existing 5-seat premium SUVs, plus a HUD, and all-new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment setup, and a tilt-slide row-two seating for additional cabin configurability.
Powered by either a four-cylinder all-alloy 2.0L turbocharged gas engine or the 2.2L turbo diesel engine, the 2015 Discovery Sport is dubbed by Land Rover as the most versatile and capable premium SUV on the market.
Land Rover digitally revealed the new Discovery Sport at Spaceport America in New Mexico, USA, also launching the Land Rover Galactic Discovery competition. Four friends are set to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to space with Land Rover’s global partner, Virgin Galactic as part of an innovative digital competition at www.landrover.com/gotospace.
The 2015 Discovery Sport will go on sale early 2015 and will be manufactured at Land Rover’s Halewood, Liverpool plant.
