Kahn Designs builds the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6×6 Concept
Kahn Designs dub themselves the ‘dream factory’ and for good reason. Their latest creation is set to debut in Geneva next week — a 430-hp V8 powered, six-wheeled Land Rover Defender called the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6×6 Concept.
Built on the Defender 110, this Kahn concept is envisioned to compete with the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 — a 8,487 lbs behemoth powered by a twin-turbo 5.5L V8.
The Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6×6 Concept finds a GM-sourced LS3 V8 6.2L sending power to all six wheels via a six-speed auto transmission. Compared to the stock Defender, Kahn’s version is 150mm wider, 800mm longer in rear cabin, and adds 400mm to the hood.
Production of this six-wheeled monster may be a reality with Kahn Designs building limited units available in five flavours from hard top and pickup configurations to four and six-wheeled models.
