Royal Enfield has been steadily expanding its North American range, from the Super Meteor 650 cruiser to the Himalayan 450 adventure bike, and now it has something far more exclusive. Inspired by Rough Crafts’ one-off Caliber Royale custom, the new Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts keeps the standard 648cc parallel-twin underneath but adds gloss and matte black bodywork, a hand-applied gold leaf stripe, cast brass collaboration badge, gold fork tubes, contrast-cut wheels, quilted leather seat and individually numbered tank. Just 100 bikes will be built worldwide, with only 10 headed to the U.S. and two to Canada, priced at US$7,999 and C$10,799. North American buyers need to register online before the July 28 first-come, first-served drop, and each owner also gets a signed, numbered Caliber Royale artwork by Rough Crafts founder Winston Yeh. The India-based bike builder is making scarcity look good.
