The Lotus C-01 Motorcycle: Designed by Daniel Simon

Prototype of the first Motorcycle bearing the Lotus name

Now road registered and ready for action, Kodewa is granted the exclusive license to produce a motorcycle by Group Lotus, known for their world-class sportscars. Powered by a V-twin engine paired to a speedy body design by Daniel Simon, the Lotus C-01 includes carbon fibre, titanium, and aerospace quality steel. Though not designed nor engineered by Lotus, the C-01 is the result of collaboration between motorsport veterans led by Dr. Colin Kolles of Kodewa.

The Lotus C-01 will be available in a range of liveries some of which pay homage to Lotus’ sporting pedigree. A customisation service is also available, limited only by the imagination of the client. With an exclusive production run of just 100 units, superbike collectors and fans of the Lotus brand will need to move fast to secure one.

The premise of the Lotus C-01 was to create a bike which not only offered a great ride but also represented a piece of art in motion, veering away from the fair share of style over substance prevalent in today’s motorcycle designs. Ultimately, the Lotus combines beautiful aesthetic with state of the art technology.
