New Coupe, New direction for Lexus

This all-new coupe is an important model for the automaker, marking a new phase for Lexus representing a new relationship between their design and engineering teams. Director of Lexus Canada, Jennifer Barron, explains, “(the LC 500) is more than just a new vehicle: It’s a new way to design and build the luxury models Canadians desire…the Lexus LC 500 is a jewel of a vehicle that delivers performance unlike anything we’ve ever offered.”

The 2017 Lexus LC 500 establishes a new architecture for the brand that promises enhanced dynamic capability and performance. The automaker’s other models including the NX, RC, and IS have also helped propel the brand’s shift with consumers. But it’s the LC 500 and LC 500h hybrid coupe that really looks to pave a new path for Lexus.
