Full disclaimer: the Ford Fiesta ST Performance Edition is a UK-only offering. So why even cover it? Why not, we say. Perhaps the closest thing we’ll get across The Pond is this limited-edition Focus RS.
Evolving from the ST-3 trim level, only 600 units of Ford’s popular little pocket rocket in the Performance Edition variant painted in Deep Orange will be made available — correct, not on sale in North America.

A Fiesta ST hitting 0-60 in 6.5 seconds
Putting down 197-hp and 214 lb-ft of torque via an efficient 1.5L EcoBoost with 3-cylinders, this Fiesta ST will hit 144 mph or 232 km/h and sprint 0-60 in a respectable 6.5 seconds. This isn’t exactly mind-blasting, but in the cockpit of a small hatch like this, it might feel a lot faster (and fun).
Key specs for the driving enthusiasts
Featuring 18-inch wheels and weighing about 15 pounds less than stock, this microcar is tuned to deliver proper driving dynamics. It’s a fun little track car equipped with steel damper housings paired to Ford Performance springs and coilover suspension, painted in what Ford calls Magnetite.
The car sits 15mm lower at the front and 10mm in the back, providing the 3-door Fiesta optimal dynamics to hit those tight corners; Ford Performance put this special edition Fiesta ST through the paces at Nurburgring.
Our UK friends can expect deliveries in Fall 2019, with a price point of £3,000 over the standard ST-3 level, which goes for about £22,450.
