Move over, Italy – the dawn of the American supercar is here with Lucra’s new 2014 L148
With a one-piece carbon fibre body and a 700-horsepower V8 engine, the 2014 Lucra L148 zips from zero to 60 in a mere 2.5 seconds. While the speed and power are impressive, equally stunning is the attractive design, which looks like a cobra getting ready to strike when viewed from the front. It will run you a cool $250,000 US but if you have that kind of money to blow, who wants a boring Ferrari when you can truly stand out in a crowd with a 2014 Lucra L148?
Unlike it’s predecessor, the LC740, the L148 will have traditional conveniences such as air conditioning, GPS, and satellite radio, making it more suitable for daily travel and not just street racing. The 2014 Lucra L148 has a 148-inch wheelbase, 13-inch front tires, and 14-inch rear tires. The solid body carbon fibre construction makes the frame a lot straighter and stronger than pieced together frames, but it could make for a very expensive fender-bender repair.
The 2014 Lucra L148 will hit the market sometime in Spring of 2014, and it is designed to appeal to the superwealthy looking for something new and different. This certainly fits the bill, and you can be almost sure that no one else on the block will have one.
