Mercedes-Benz recently announced that it will soon cease production of it’s flagship sportscar, the Mercedes SLS AMG, the first car fully developed by AMG.
While it’s sad to see it end, Mercedes-Benz is delighting us once again with a big sendoff in the form of the Mercedes SLS AMG GT Final Edition. This limited edition of 350 units will be available in both coupe and roadster versions.
While still equipped with the standard SLS 583-horsepower V8 engine, there are some exterior touches that make this car unique. Among the perks are a front splitter, rear spoiler, an exposed carbon hood, stunning forged alloy wheels, and a paint job in either solid matte black or high polish with matte black inlays. The elegance continues on the interior, with carbon fiber trim and silver stitching. Each owner of a Final Edition will be supplied with a “1 of 350” plaque for bragging rights. The roadster accelerate from 0 to 60 in a quick 3.7 seconds, so it’s performance will be worthy of the gorgeous package in which it’s wrapped.
Prices for these stunners are as of yet unreleased, but expect to pay well over $200,000 US a piece for both the coupe and roadster.
