In Pictures: Inside the New Lincoln Aviator SUV

Lincoln's new mid-size 2020 SUV brings the luxury brand's design vision to life - and it starts with the interior

Quebec City, QC – If you are expecting Lincoln’s new mid-size SUV cabin to floss a streamlined design, a long list of tech, insanely comfortable seats, ample cargo, and enough standard features to upset your Grandpa in his 1950s Lincoln Cosmopolitan, well, you would be bang on.

Unless you’ve been living in Gramps old Cosmo, you know the SUV market is on fire, and while Lincoln entered the mid-size segment with the all-new Aviator a bit later than many of its competitors, the wait was certainly worth it. (Note: Lincoln does have the unambitious, mid-size MKT and the less refined Aviator SUV did exist between 2003 to 2005, but let’s move on).

We’ll let the Aviator interior pictures from our trip to beautiful Quebec City, Canada do all the talking. But below, we’ve listed all the standard interior features you can expect from the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6-powered luxury hauler, along with some notable interior options.

Some of these standout interior features include Phone as Key using a compatible smartphone as a key fob; an optional Revel Ultima sound system with its 28 speakers; a progressive new steering wheel built for comfort and easier control functions; optional 30-way adjustable massage seats; multiple power outlets throughout the cabin and a standard Wi-Fi hotspot — all packaged into an aeronautical and futuristic cabin design inside a medium sized sport utility.

Overall, Lincoln is nailing it with their entire lineup of freshly designed crossovers and sport utilities — from the stylish, compact Corsair to the opulent, full-size Navigator. The Aviator newcomer is no exception — a boldly styled yet elegantly appointed premium SUV with a cabin space you could easily live inside. Seriously. Here’s a look at the entire Lincoln SUV lineup today.
