When the all-new sixth-generation Ford Mustang 2015 model-year was introduced in early 2014 we were pretty excited. But these 6 models take this American muscle car to a new level of power, style, and handling.
A bit more about arguably Ford’s best car ever:
The Ford Mustang is one of America’s most iconic muscle cars originally based on the platform of the second-generation North American compact car called the Ford Falcon. The original Ford Mustang I four-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II two-seater prototype, which Ford used to gauge how the public would take interest in the first production Mustang which was released as the 1964 1/2, with a slight variation on the front-end and a top that was 2.7 inches shorter than the 1963 Mustang II.
We weren’t around when the Mustang was officially introduced in mid-April 1964 as a 1965 model year (or “1964½” as some called it). But we’re here now for the all-new sixth-gen Ford Mustang 2015 which finally came to fruition after a way-too-long fourth-generation Mustang that lasted almost 10 years from 2005 to 2014.
To honour this venerable rocket, below are 6 Ford Mustang 2015 models that take an already capable modern muscle car and transforms it into something special. Very special.
